URGENT MESSAGE TO PATIENTS

The team at Healthy Smiles wants you to know that we are navigating the current and unprecedented state of COVID-19 with extreme caution. This is new territory for everyone in our world and we have been diligently following the CDC recommendations as well as those from other national, state, and local associations and authorities.

Like many of you, we have spent the entire weekend reading all of the relevant data and speaking with authorities, in an effort to do what we feel is best for our patients and our team, we have made the decision to discontinue all non-emergency appointments for the next week, at a minimum, and possibly longer if indicated.

We fully understand the inconvenience this places on our patients and their families and how disappointing this is to those scheduled to have appointments for treatment. However, by postponing all of our non-emergent dental appointments, we truly believe we will be doing our part in helping to “flatten the curve” that will hopefully save the lives of many of our loved ones who are in the most susceptible group to contract severe illness and death.

As small business owners who support many team members, we can tell you that this decision has been an incredibly trying one to make over the last 48 hours. However, we feel that it is in the best interest of the community to do our part in helping to curb this pandemic and I encourage you to support others who have done the same.

Please know that we are always available and that we are of course accessible for any emergencies during the time away from the office. EMERGENCIES CAN ALLWAYS CALL 856-336-8250 to reach one of our dentists. One of our team members will be reaching out in the coming days to reschedule appointments. And as always, please call our office for any and all concerns. If there is no answer at our office, please feel free to call the emergency line to have your questions answered.

Once we know it is safe for our patients and our staff to return to normal capacity, we plan on adding additional hours and days to accommodate all of our patients and get back on schedule.

We will continue to monitor this ever-changing situation with national CDC guidelines and we look forward to seeing you back in the office as soon as possible. Thank you for your continued understanding. Our main priority always has been and continues to be the health and safety of our patients and our staff.

Very Respectfully,
Ankur J. Desai, DDS
Arati M. Shah, DDS
Mooni D. Shah, DDS

And the entire Healthy Smiles Family.
